4th November 2018
On Saturday 10th November, at 3.00 pm, Sparkford Copse Trust will be planting an oak tree, very kindly donated, in memory of the 100 years since the end of The First World War.
It will be planted in Wyvern Copse (the one on the right as you go up the steep hill on Sparkford Hill Lane) and anyone who would like to attend is most welcome. There will be a short planting ceremony, led by Rev Rose Hoskins. Any donations will be given to The Royal British Legion and if anyone has poppy crosses which they would like to plant around the tree, please do bring them.
Access will be through the metal gate at the bottom of Wyvern Copse. Limited parking will be available inside Wyvern and Millennium Copse gateways. Please do not park in front of Wessex Water’s gate to the sewage works.
