A303 Podimore to Sparkford

Overnight closures 19 to 24 July from 8pm in the evening to 5am the following morning

Highways England operates, maintains and improves England’s motorways and major A roads.

We’re carrying out essential maintenance along this stretch of the A303 to include pot hole filling, general maintenance and verge clearance. The work will be carried out overnight when traffic flows are at their lowest and road closures will be in place for the safety of our workforce. Where possible, we’ll carry out noisiest works before 11pm.

Residents and HGV’s will be escorted through the works and all other traffic will be diverted via the A37 and A359. During the day the carriageway will be open as usual.
